Kerem Yücel was born and raised in Turkey. Kerem's main interest is in social justice, human rights and the protection of civilian population and environmental issues. Kerem is currently located in Minneapolis, Minneapolis and roaming The Land of Dakota / MidWest.
He is working mostly with Agence France Presse (AFP), MPR news, Sierra Magazine, and Anadolu Images.
Kerem's photographs have appeared in Time Magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, The Guardian.
